Santa Claus made his rounds in Chickasaw County last week as the Okolona, Houston and Woodland Christmas parades were held with crowds attending all three.

Floats, bands, happy faces and holiday music filled all the three municipalities sharing the sights and sounds of the season.

For those still looking for Christmas cheer, don’t worry. The Houlka Christmas parade will be held this Saturday, Dec. 13 at 5 p.m. and the Town of Mantee will host an afternoon of fun culminating in their parade at 6 p.m.
