Several programs honoring veterans will take place in November.

• HHS recognition

Houston High School will hold their annual Veteran’s Day program in the school auditorium on Wed., Nov. 11 at 10:40 a.m. All veterans of military service, any branch, all ranks, and survivors are invited to attend. Special seating will be made available for veteran guests and survivors.

• Okolona parade

The third annual Veteran’s Parade in Okolona will be held Wed., Nov. 11 at 9 a.m. Line-up begins at 8:30 a.m. Refreshments will be served in the Rockwell Auditorium following the parade.
