On October 16, the public is invited for a special presentation by the Historic Blues Trail Marker at Joe Brigance Park honoring Bukka White. White lived outside Houston and was a pioneer of the blues music in Mississippi during the 1920’s and 1930’s.

The event will be held at 10 a.m. in Joe Brigance Park on Starkville Road in Houston.
