VAN VLEET - At a meeting in Bond's Cabin, Van Vleet, MS, the Chuquatonchee Chapter, NSDAR had a program about the Lewis and Clark Expedition. The featured speaker was Amy Ginke who is a ranger with the Natchez Trace Park Service in Tupelo, MS. She has walked on the Lewis and Clark Trail and shared with members the history of the Trail and her personal experience while on the Trail.

Hostesses for the meeting were Chic Carter and Gracie Jackson who served refreshments fitting for the program such as trail mix, dried fruit, and a cake with the actual trail depicted in the frosting. All this was served on a "river" of blue form pottery.
