HOUSTON – Investigators are releasing little information about the death of a Houston man.

Chickasaw County Coroner Andy Harmon said Johnny Smith, 55, was killed Tuesday morning at about 8:45. Harmon is not releasing the cause of death, nor the events that lead to Smith’s death.

Chickasaw County deputies have arrested a person of interest in connection with Smith’s death, but hadn’t charged him with murder as of Tuesday night.
